Centre for Ageing Better Photo Library

Images, like languages, shape the way we think about old age and ageing. Given so many more of us are living longer, it's time we started using more realistic and positive imagery. We've launched the first free library of over 400 positive and realistic images of older people in a bid to seen an end to the use of images that reinforce stereotypes of later life such as 'wrinkly hands' that are frequently used to depict older people. Doing Our Bit

#DoingOurBit is a platform of over 50 free workouts for NHS staff. Inspired by NHS Keyworker Julie Davis, who wanted to support her colleagues with access to free fitness during lockdown and beyond, #DoingOurBit was created by leading fitnes industry business Active IQ, Study Activeand fibodo. each gave their time generously and freely- as did all 40 PTs whose workouts are features- to 'give back' and 'do their bit' to support the hard-working NHS.
